Robots have been applied from industry to other fields as services and much more. Except for industrial robots and service robots, the shapes of special robots have been widely used. Special robots can work actively or semi actively in special field, which can help to complete service work benificial to human being, is their main pattern of manifestation. From the aspects of development trend of special robot industrialization, market expansion means, international competition, and resource optimization, the necessity of establishing special robot standard is introduced in China, and its feasibility is briefly analyzed.
