On the basis of expounding the concept, the basic theory and applications of the explicit dynamic finite element method through ABAQUS, which is a finite element simulation software, in the explicit dynamic module of ABAQUS, have been studied. The 4047 aluminum alloy belt forming process, which is one of 4047 fluxcored wire rolling processes, has been simulated. Through the comparisons between the different aluminum strip speed, the best quality forming speed was selected. Compare the forming quality of 4047 aluminum alloy belts with different mass scaling factors, the mass scaling factor with the best forming quality and the fastest computing speed was selected. The results show that when the distance between upper and lower rollers is the thickness of 4047 aluminum alloy belt, the forming quality of 4047 aluminum alloy is the best.
