Abstract:In order to grasp the spool valve wear in different forms of throttling edge, the power level spool valve of electrohydraulic proportional control valve was taken as the research object. Based on computational fluid dynamics and erosion wear theory,the wear of the spool valve body was studied and analyzed by using the finite element analysis software (FLUENT).By establishing a twodimensional model of the spool valve body, the wear of different geometric shape of throttling edge, and the wear of throttling edge with the same geometric shape in different openings were studied under the same initial simulation conditions. Finally, according to the wear curve of each case, the working condition of the spool valve can be judged, and the form of throttling edge with the minimum wear can be obtained.
