A kind of large displacement twin mixing doublepump skid was designed for installing on offshore rig.By “5+3” configuration of combining one set fiveplunger pump and one set threeplunger pump,the pumping capacity was significantly improved compared with the previous kind.Based on the existing highenergy mixer,the “1+1” combination configuration was adopted to improve the mixing speed to match the maximum displacement.The remote control system and soundproof cover were designed to protect the operator,simultaneously to make the work environment better.It was tested after final assemblage and the original design requirements were completely realized.It has been installed on the offshore rig and performed very well.
