In order to make the control panel to satisfy human’s physiological and psychological characteristics, which had the most pleasant interface, the control panel of μ1000/630V CNC machine tool was taken as an example to research design for humanfactor (DFH) method. The basic theory of DFH was proposed, and the design flow of DFH was given. Then the index evaluation system and the optimization model were established based on the DFH theory.Finally, the preliminary design of the control panel was given, and the evaluation and optimization were conducted according to the DFH theory. The comparison and analysis of the control panel before and after optimization shows that the human satisfaction of the optimized control panel is greatly improved.
