In order to realize the multimaterial and multicolor incremental manufacturing of 3D printing with FDM(fused deposition modeling),the structure of the multinozzle 3D printer was designed;through analyzing the singlenozzle 3D printer movement,the forming trajectory and motion characteristics of the multihead 3D printer were studied.And the control method,control object and control flow were determined,the control system was also designed based on open layered software & multiaxis linkage control communication.Finally,the threedimensional design software was used to construct the color threedimensional data model and to simulate the molding process.It is verified that the multinozzle 3D printer can realize multicolor threedimensional model production.
