Abstract:According to the failure phenomenon of the elastic clamp of the combination switch module of Mitsubishi Motors, the stress analysis of the elastic clamp showed that the maximum stress was at the end of the reduction hole. The chemical composition, microstructure and fracture morphology of the failed parts were analyzed, and the fracture of the parts was mainly“hydrogen embrittlement fracture”. On this basis, the method of reducing the stress by means of vibration aging and the method of replacing the surface zinc plating with GEOMET surface coating was put forward to eliminate the“hydrogen embrittlement”. Experiments and actual application demonstrate the effectiveness of the solution.
