Abstract:The lightweight design of core drill pedestal and feeding body was carried out through topological optimization combined with goal driven optimization,by which the masses of pedestal and feeding body were reduced by 1544% and 2618% respectively,also the stress was distributed well and the material utilization was increased.Then the feeding body’s dynamic strain was measured using digital speckle correlation method,which indicated that its strength met the design requirement.Meanwhile,the vibration frequency was obtained as 13 Hz,which provided a reference for the dynamic design of whole machine.
