In order to improve the accuracy and leveling efficiency of the automatic leveling system, a system consisting mainly of servo motor and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is designed. Using a algorithm based on position control with fast rough adjustment of leveling and a PID selftuning algorithm with an angle controlled, the high accuracy and applicability of electromechanical leveling systems were achieved.Through experimental setup and LABVIEW monitoring results, PID selftuning algorithm can be well used in angle closedloop control.It is proved that this design system has good reference value and practicality for similar system of achieving highprecision and highefficiency leveling requirements.
