Abstract:Superalloy GH4169 is an important material for the manufacture of aeroengines. When electrosparking nickelbased superalloy GH4169, electrical parameters such as peak current, pulse width, interpulse, and gap voltage are important control factors, and surface roughness and material removal rate are performance indicators for measuring the effect of the process. The effect of each electrical parameter on surface roughness and material removal rate was examined using a single process parameter test. Through the analysis of the range of orthogonal test results of multiple process parameters, the order of the influence of each electrical parameter on the material removal rate and surface roughness was obtained. Finally, on the basis of orthogonal test, using gray correlation analysis method, the optimal combination of processing parameters is obtained and verified by experiments.
