Abstract:In order to analyze the structural strength and the vibration property about the crucial machining and peeling parts of the green walnut huller, we calculate and ascertain the structural parameter of the peeling roll are calculated and ascertained. Static analysis and modal analysis were made by using UG to model and leading it in ANSYS. The result turns out that peeling roll can remove the green peel effectively, in the meantime, it can transport the clean walnuts to the discharge port. The peeling rolls maximum deformation and equivalent stress are respectively 0.814 mm and 5.25 MPa during operation. In the different conditions of loaded, the maximum equivalent stress is far less than this materials yield strength. The first six natural frequencies of the peeling roll are 0.846 3 Hz, 51.287 Hz, 172.07 Hz, 183.62 Hz, 186.66 Hz and 242.33 Hz which are far greater than the green walnut hullers service frequency. The analysis shows that peeling rolls rigidity and intensity are not only fully meet the requirements, but also guarantee that it wont produce resonance in the condition of regular work. It produces the data support and scientific basis for the further research of the green walnut huller.
