In order to solve the problem of temperature rise caused by long-term energization of a certain type of static pressure float gyro, a control method is proposed to reduce the temperature of the gyro motor by controlling the air supply temperature of the air bearing. Combining fluid mechanics and gyro error theory, the influence of gas supply temperature on the accuracy of the gyroscope was analyzed. Using the Fluent simulation analysis, the flow-heat coupling model of the float subassembly and the air bearing was established. The results show that the change of the supply air temperature does not have a significant effect on the accuracy of the instrument. Decreasing the supply air temperature has a significant influence on the temperature change of the gyro motor. Under certain conditions, the continuous supply time of the gyroscope can be prolonged by reducing the supply air temperature.
