Abstract:Aiming at the springback problem of Ushaped workpiece, the 6061 aluminum alloy sheet Ushaped workpiece stamping two dimensional (2D) finite element model(FEM) is established in Abaqus software. By using the springback measurement method of Numisheet 2011 conference and the defect criteria of forming limit diagram, the effect of single process parameter on the springback of Ushaped workpiece was studied, and the optimal process parameters combination of springback control of Ushaped workpiece was obtained through L9(34) orthogonal test. The results show that the springback of the Ushaped workpiece generally increases with the increase of punchdie corner radius, and decreases overall with the decrease of punchdie gap value without changing other forming process parameters. The springback of Ushaped workpiece increases with the increase of the friction coefficient of punchsheet, and decreases with the increase of the friction coefficient of diesheet, blankholdersheet or blankholding force. The primary and secondary order of the impact of the forming process parameters on the springback of Ushaped workpiece are the friction coefficient of diesheet and blankholdersheet, the friction coefficient of punchsheet, the punchdie gap value, and the blankholding force. Ushaped workpiece forming simulation are performed using the optimal level process parameters combination A2B3C1D3, the maximum displacement offset of the flange end position of the Ushaped workpiece is 084 mm, and the springback control effect is obvious.
