In the hot dip galvanizing workshop, the large eddy simulation combined with FW-H equation is used to study the flow field and the sound field characteristics of the outer blowing ring, which was caused by the strong noise caused by blowing the excess zinc particles from the outer ring nozzle after the external blowing nozzle was blown out of the galvanizing pool. The results show that the noise at the outlet center of the outer ring nozzle is 120 dB, and the noise pressure is between 80 dB and 120 dB at the circumferential position of the outer ring outlet 1 m. The validity of the numerical simulation results is verified by experiments, which lays a foundation for the noise control and the design of low noise blowing ring.
