Abstract:A Computer Numerical Control(CNC) machining workstation which adopts intelligent robot instead of manual operation is developed according to the demand of the enterprise. It was included of four multiaxis machining centers, visual guided robot grab system, robot walking device, loading and unloading conveying device, and automatic hydraulic fixture, and etc. The application prospect and requirement of robot in the field of machining small and medium sized parts was introduced, and in detail the establishment of the CNC machining workstation was expounded, and the design of the mechanical device, the workflow and the integrated design of the control system. The actual test results show that after the material preparation is finished, the machining workstation can process parts automatically without worker, and meet the requirements of efficiency and quality.
