The comparison principle of smooth degree about monotone decreasing sequence was put forward.Improved method of smooth degree about decreasing sequence was given,and proved in theory.The modeling mechanism of GM(1,1) grey model was analyzed.The forecasting precision of grey model was improved by combining the methods of opposite direction accumulating algorithm and improved smooth degree of decreasing sequence.The validity of the method is proved by application example.
