Abstract:There are many factors affecting the multipass singlepoint progressive forming wall thickness uniformity of the regular dodecagon cone. The influence of process parameters is significant. Based on the determination of the cooling lubrication method, numerical simulation and experimental methods were used to analyze the influence of the factors, such as layer distance, tool head diameter and feed rate,on the thickness uniformity of the part.The influence degree was as follows: tool head diameter was larger than feed rate, and feed rate was larger than layer distance. Finally, the consistency of the optimal process parameters obtained by orthogonal test and numerical simulation was verified by experiments.
