Abstract:Based on the theoretical models of piezoelectric cantilever beam and cantilever beam-mass block vibrator, and in view of the characteristics of marine diesel engine such as multi-vibration source and high-frequency vibration, a kind of multi-piezoelectric cantilever beam device is proposed, which combines the functions of piezoelectric energy gathering and vibration reduction and noise reduction. The simulation model of multi-cantilever beam with mass block was established by using COMSOL finite element analysis (FEA) software. The FEA simulation results showed that the vibration frequency of piezoelectric cantilever beam structure was close to the natural frequency of diesel engine, and the vibration was transferred from diesel engine to cantilever beam device, and the vibration of diesel engine was obviously reduced. The output voltage and power were 5.88 V and 3.46 mW respectively. Vibration and noise reduction of piezoelectric cantilever beam and piezoelectric energy collection experiments show that the cantilever beam resonates with the vibration source at the frequency 18 Hz, the amplitude is reduced from 19.49 dB to 2.41 dB, and the maximum output voltage of the piezoelectric plate is about 5.92 V. The effect of energy collection and vibration reduction are obvious.
