The processing method of steep-lead internal helix was studied.The technical characteristics and the processing difficulties of the internal helix were analyzed.By comparing with traditional processing methods, a new method of steep-lead internal helix processing was put forward.By means of vertical machining center and changing the motion mode of spindle, the special component was milled. It provides reference for similar internal helix machining.
