Abstract:For current truck crane, single proportional main valve is adopted to control the luffing mechanism, which is great energy consumption and low energy efficiency. Multiple proportional valves were used to separately control the two chambers of the luffing hydraulic cylinder, and corresponding control modes were respectively designed for lifting and falling process to reduce system energy consumption. A simulation model was established based on a truck crane, and its operation characteristics and energy consumption characteristics were analyzed. The results show that using the improved hydraulic system can achieve the same operation characteristics as the original system, and the energy consumption of the system can be reduced by 14.8%. The research results provide a reference for the research on the hydraulic system of high energy efficient operation of a truck crane
