Abstract:So far, the studies on the liquid ring vacuum pump system were mainly focused on practical applications, and the fundamental work on system performance was very limited. In this study, the software Flowmaster was used to model and simulate the liquid ring vacuum pump system. The relationships between the system operating conditions and the performances of the liquid ring pump equipped with apparatus performance were analyzed. The influencing rules of some key parameters on operating conditions and performance of the liquid ring vacuum pump system were obtained. The parameters included rotational speed, impeller size, pipe length, pipe diameter, valve opening and inlet pressure of the system. The rules could provide a theoretical basis for engineering design and application.
