The leakage flow rate was redefined and the mathematical model of the premium quality finishing(PQF)hydraulic servo system was given by analyzing the symmetrical valve-controlled asymmetric hydraulic cylinder system. The quadratic optimal control theory was used to solve the optimal controller.The response curve and spectrum diagram of the system were analyzed, and the optimal weighting matrix of the control quantity was proposed.Through the simulation experiment, the performance of the system is improved effectively.
