Abstract:Electrification is the trend of special vehicles.However,the large volume,long charging time and high cost of the battery are the bottleneck of the electric special vehicles.Most of the working equipments in special vehicles are the valvecontrolled hydraulic systems.Its high energy consuming and low efficiency are adverse to the reduction of battery capacity and the cost of whole vehicle.Hence,a variable speed closed pump controlled (VSCPC) system was presented,and adopted in the lifting mechanism in dump trucks.The parameters of the main elements in VSCPC system were designed and the AMESim model was built.Simulation results show that the VSCPC system in the dump truck works properly,the asymmetrical flow match between the pilot operated check valves and the accumulator can be implemented.Therefore,throttling loss is reduced largely.Furthermore,the potential energy of the carriage is recharged to the battery through the VSCPC system,so the energy for lifting is reduced by 3168%.
