Abstract:Aiming at the requirement of video monitoring system in the hot cell of nuclear industry,a kind of high precision pantilt turntable for radiation environment was proposed.In order to drive the camera to revolve around two axes,a doublelayer stucture was applied.A clutch mechanism was designed,by which the pantilt turntable could be worked as an independent module and be repaired by a manipulator.The radiation resistance of servo motor and feedback elements was improved and a closedloop control system which could work reliably in radiation environment was established.Harmonic gear reducers were adopted,which made the transmission systems have the advantages of small volume,compact structure and better positioning accuracy.By using slip rings,the electrical cables were completely shielded in the stainless steel casing and could never be twisted while working.This provides a new idea for the modularization and maintainability of automation equipments in nuclear industry.
