Abstract:Due to the complex geological conditions of composite strata in karst development area,the risk of shield construction is high in this kind of stratum,and it is easy to cause abnormal failure of cutters.Therefore,the main geological risk factors causing the abnormal cutter failure in this kind of stratum were analyzed,and the main cutting tool type suitable for the composite stratum in karst development area was determined.The fuzzy theory was used to select cutter type,and the cutter comprehensive evaluation method was used to obtain the final cutter selection scheme,and then a set of cutter selection method suitable for the composite stratum in karst development area was formed.This method was applied to the shield cutters configuration for the interval shield tunneling from Zhouzhuang station to Qiligou station of Xuzhou metro line 2.The engineering application shows that this method is feasible.
