The transient heat transfer inside and outside of the fixed scroll plate is important for the performance of scroll compressor.By analyzing the structure of a scroll compressor,the main way of compression heat transfer was obtained.Two different structures of curved and straight cooling fins were designed.Cast iron and cast aluminum were utilized to build a threedimensional model of the fixed scroll plate.The numerical calculations for the transient heat transfer between the inside and outside of the fixed scroll plate were realized by using the finite element method.Based on the steady state heat transfer time,the fixed scroll plate material and the cooling fin structure were determined to realize the fast transient heat transfer.The results show that the transient heat transfer performance of the fixed scroll plate with cast aluminum material and curved cooling fin structure is better,and it can realize rapid heat transfer for inside and outside surface of the fixed scroll plate.The research results provide technical reference for heat transfer enhancement of scroll compressor.
