Abstract:In order to solve the problem of cementing mud cake caused by the unreasonable structure design of the warehouse of the slurry shield machine,Jinan Yellow River tunnel project was used as an example,a simplified model of slurry shield machine warehouse was set up,and based on CFD numerical simulation method,the influences of cutter opening rate and cutter thickness on the mud flow performance in the slurry shield machine were investigated.The results show that the increase of the opening rate of the cutter plate will reduce the force of the cutter plate and the fluid velocity in the bin;when the opening rate is 50%,the average pressure in the excavated bin is obviously greater than other schemes;the relationship between the cutter thickness and the force on the cutter changes with the change of the inlet velocity,the pressure in the excavated bin is basically not affected by the change of the cutter thickness,and the fluid velocity in the bin increases with the increase of the cutter thickness.According to the simulation results,the functional relationships between the force of the cutter in the bin,the fluid velocity,the average pressure of the excavated bin and the feed velocity of the slurry,and the recommended structural parameters of the cutter were obtained,which were successfully applied to the Yellow River tunnel project in Jinan.
