Abstract:When the traditional PID method is used to realize the position tracking control of electro-hydraulic servo wave maker, it has some shortcomings, such as low precision and poor adaptability, so it cannot meet the design requirements of wave maker system. In order to improve the control performance of the system, a fuzzy adaptive PID feedforward compensation control method for electro-hydraulic servo wave maker was proposed. The mathematical model of the wave making electro-hydraulic servo system was established, and the transfer function of each link in the position servo control system was deduced. Then the fuzzy adaptive PID feedforward compensation controller was designed, and the design and simulation of the control system were realized by MATLAB/Simulink. Under different working conditions of the wave maker, the simulation results of traditional PID control, fuzzy adaptive PID control and fuzzy adaptive PID feedforward compensation control were compared.The results show that the proposed fuzzy adaptive PID feedforward control method can be used to effectively improve the dynamic performance and position control accuracy of wave making electro-hydraulic servo system, and has strong adaptive ability.
