Abstract:In the case of uncertain shape, the three-dimensional garment information extraction process has weak characteristics correlation, segmentation area expansion and other issues. Thus, a new method of garment information extraction based on 3D printing and 3D image processing was proposed. Firstly, the three-dimensional garment image was segmented by texture feature, and image sequence adaptive block matching method was used to perform information enhancement processing. Then using the desktop 3D printing technology carried out three-dimensional image reconstruction in the garment design, and the three-dimensional garment image surface rendering was performed, to achieve garment information extraction. Finally, performance tests were performed by simulation experiments. The results show that the proposed method can be used to extract the garment information, which can accurately reflect the garment texture information and the three-dimensional rendering information. The color balance of the garment design is better and the garment design is optimized effectively.
