To meet the need for the 5axis CNC incremental forming tool path generation, the study on the method for the 5axis CNC incremental forming tool path generation based on UG has been conducted. Based on the rake angle and the dip angle, the posture definition of the extrusion tool was studied in order to make the extrusion tool to extrude the sheet metal according to the desired direction of the user. The generation method for the constant scallop height based on unequal distance contour tool path and staggered motion tool path for the 5axis CNC incremental forming had been presented. Finally, the solid and wireframe simulation of the forming tool paths were given through the case studies.
