Abstract:The discrete manufacturing industry has characteristics such as the complexity of product structure, technological process and organization structure, long production cycle, a wide variety of components and so on. RFID technology provides an efficient and reliable realtime data acquisition technology for data acquisition function of manufacturing execution system. Taking MES project of a gasoline engine production line of a company as the background, the MES unit controller based on RFID was studied and it put forward the design of a MES unit controller and mainly researched on the system structure and function modules from the point of view of the software. The unit controller provides functions such as production identification, electronic display board guidance, material comparison and so on, which has obviously effectiveness of network supervision and management.
