The study of the grit-workpiece interaction through single grit cutting is an important contribution to the explanation of the physical processes that occur during grinding.Based on Deform-3D finite element simulation software, with the workpiece material J-C constitutive model and the simplified conical abrasive, the corresponding grinding temperature field simulation was obtained through using CBN and white corundum to grind 45steel.The simulation results show that temperatures of different materials of abrasive grinding workpiece are significant different; the highest temperature is close to the melting temperature of workpiece materials;grinding temperature increases with increase of depth, little change with the increase of velocity.
