ANSYS CFX software was used to make numerical simulation analysis of steady threedimensional turbulent flow field in a barometric feeding tank.The numerical calculation of internal flow field in feed tank with different taper was done by using k-ε turbulence model,Renault NavierStokec equation and SIMPLE algorithm.The results reveal the distributional regularities of turbulence flow speed,pressure,velocity vector and the eddy viscosity in the feeding tank.Through comparison and analysis on various physical quantities of the flow in the different taper tanks,the optimum design of barometric feed tank data was obtained.
