At present construction mechanization level in China is lower than developed country, slabstone installation especially for highrise buildings still relys on labour power. In view of those questions relevant research of intelligent construction equipment of installing slabstone for highrise buildings was implemented. Kinematic analysis of slabstone installation robot was carried on, and kinematics equation was established. Positive and inverse solutions of kinematic analysis were solved, and the robot's workspace was analysed. It will provide a theoretical basis for controlling slabstone installation robot.
