Abstract:As the main functional component of NC machine tools, NC turntable is one of the key factors in the application and development of NC machine tools. Its performance determines the performance of NC machine tools directly. As the main support and installation of the turntable, the static and dynamic characteristics of the turntable body also affect the bearing performance and machining stability of the turntable. The static and dynamic characteristics of the turntable body were analyzed based on ANSYS, and the topology optimization and multi object size optimization technology were used to optimize the turntable. The optimization results show that the body weight is reduced 3% than that of the original body; the deformation of the body under the vertical load is reduced 11%, and the natural frequency of each stage is improved. Static and dynamic characteristics are enhanced obviously compared with the original body with vertical installation; under the condition of horizontal installation, static performance of the body is almost unchanged, and the dynamic performance is decreased with micro amplitude, but its natural frequency is very high.So the optimized effect is good, this method provides reference for the initial design of the turntable structure.
