Abstract:The quality inspection of the folding windshield of railway trains was set as the background,a kind of damper displacement experiment platform was developed. It could simulate the situations of shaking, upward/downward slope and cornering during the train movement, including the windshield minimum curve negotiation capacity test required by railway department. Using the concept of modularization design, based on the deformation of the windshield in 6 degrees of directional force in the course of the train motion, the test bed consisted of threecoordinate straight angle displacement platform and threecoordinate rotation end was designed to simulate its motion state, and the PLC control system was used to finish the test.The working results of the windshield displacement test bed show that it significantly improves the test efficiency of the windshield, meanwhile reduces the economic cost of the inspection, and provides a design direction for the test platform of the 6-DOF direction detection.
