Abstract:The main shaft is the key part of the special sawing machine for ceramic roller. In its work, the spindle system needs highspeed rotation, which is used for cutting the blank of ceramic roller, and the machining requirements are high. To analyze its work performance, the ANSYS software is used for the main shaft in finite element modeling and modal analysis. Each order natural frequency and vibration model were gotten, the critical speed of the spindle was solved, and was further compared and verified with the hammer into shape method. The knowledge of spindle dynamics was applied to analyze the torsional vibration and the shaft dynamic strength. Through the analysis of the main indicators, to evaluate the performance of main shaft, which provides the theoretical foundation for further optimization.
