Abstract:A system control method based on improved genetic algorithm was proposed to reduce the impact caused by faults in the control system. Three kinds of common faults of electro-hydraulic servo system were modeled, and the parameters of PID controller were optimized by using improved genetic algorithm and compared with other control algorithms. The simulation results show that by using this method, not only the control performances of the system in normal conditions can be improved, but also the control performance can be maintained when a certain fault occurs. In fields of metallurgy, electricity and water conservancy, by using this method, the number of downtime of fault maintenance can be reduced, and the maintenance cost of large assets equipment and the loss of production can be reduced.
