Abstract:In order to explore the lubrication and load-bearing characteristics of dynamic sliding bearings under different flow states, taking the textured hydrodynamic journal bearing as the object, based on Ng-Pan turbulent lubrication theory,a model of textured hydrodynamic journal bearing under various flow regime was established, and the influence of oil film flow regime, microtexture and bearing structural parameters on oil film pressure and bearing capacity of hydrodynamic journal bearing were analyzed. The result shows that the turbulent flow regime can effectively improve the oil film pressure of textured hydrodynamic journal bearing, the critical Reynolds number decreases with the increase of clearance ratio, and increases with the increase of eccentricity;under various flow regimes, the bearing capacity of textured bearing gradually decreases with the increase of pit diameter and film thickness, fluctuates with the increase of spacing, and increases with the increase of rotating speed, eccentricity and aspect ratio, and the bearing capacity of turbulent flow regime is much higher than that of the laminar flow regime.
