Abstract:In view of such problems as damage to the strength and performance of steel bars caused by traditional processing methods of large diameter and high strength steel bars HRB500,the overall structure and processing technology of rib stripping and chamfering machine capable of milling end face,rib stripping and chamfering were designed considering processing requirements and shape characteristics.According to the properties of high-strength steel bars material,the specific parameters of cutting tool were selected and the processing parameters of composite cutting tool were determined.The clamping device for axial positioning of steel bars was designed and the clamping force was calculated.The drive system with servo motor as power source was used to calculate the main parameters of the drive system and calculate and select the motor.Finite element analysis of cutting process was carried out by ANSYS software,and stress curves and stress change cloud diagram of cutting tool were obtained.The experimental results show that the designed rebar stripping and chamfering machine can be applied in the high-strength rebar processing field,and the cutting effect is good,which can be well applied to various processes.
