Abstract:To improve the friction and wear performance of the distribution pair of high-pressure seawater axial piston pump, using SAF2507 as the specimen on the backing plate of the cylinder, with CFR/PEEK as the specimen under the valve plate, the surface roughness was measured by Taylor Hobson roughness profiler, the surface contact angle was measured by HARKE-SPCAX1 contact angle measuring instrument, and the OLYMPUS OLS-3100 laser confocal microscope was used to observe the surface morphology of the specimen before and after wear, and the MMD-5A standard friction and wear testing machine was used to conduct friction and wear tests under seawater lubrication conditions to explore the effect of the surface wettability and roughness of the port pair on the friction characteristics. The test results show that under the smooth surface specimen, when the upper specimen with a roughness of 0.12 μm and the lower specimen with a roughness of 1.2 μm are rubbed together, the friction coefficient is the smallest, the time to enter stable friction is the shortest, and the wear amount is the smallest;when the surface of the lower specimen is a bionic non-smooth surface with hemispherical pits, the upper specimen with a roughness of 0.02 μm is rubbed against the lower specimen with a roughness of 0.7 μm,the friction coefficient is the smallest, and the time to enter stable friction is the shortest, and the wear amount is the smallest;the surface damage of the specimen with small roughness is mainly adhesive wear, while the surface damage of the specimen with large roughness is mainly abrasive wear.
