Face gear calculation software was used to obtain gear face points, and face gear model was built based on three-dimension software UG. Using the interface between ANSYS Workbench and UG, the assembly model was imported into finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench, and then loading time step and boundary conditions were set. Gear face contact stress and bending stress variation laws with time were obtained. Contact stress and bending stress distribution were obtained through changing modules and pressure angle.It provides reference for the new face gear reducer design.
