According to life test requirements of rolling functional unit new product, transmission mechanism of the life test-bed was designed. Based on the structural design, Pro/E was applied to the three-dimensional modeling and virtual assembly. ANSYS was applied to the stress analysis for key part of the mechanism. Furthermore, kinematic simulation and analysis were conducted under the Mechanism module of Pro/E. The simulation results show that the design of transmission mechanism for rolling functional unit life test-bed can meet the test requirements. It provides technique supports for integral design and optimization of the test-bed. The design cycle is shortened and the research cost is saved.
