Abstract:Cutting-force loading experiment is critical for acquiring some important technical parameters of a milling spindle, including accuracy,load capacity,reliability,service life,etc. Micro-feed-in capacity of differential mechanism makes sure the multi-point test under the range of spindle bearing allowance. The amplitude of cutting force was gotten from a fine pressure sensor, so the results were direct and persuasive. To meet the high-speed requirements, ceramic ball bearing sets were chosen as the transmission media between the differential mechanism and spindle's tool shank. Some bevel and balls were also introduced into experiment unit, which made the actual-working-condition simulation of spindle realize.
