The visualization research was done on flow switching phenomenon between the free jet and the reattached flows for the spool of the electro hydraulic servo valve by using Gambit and Fluent software. The flow field distribution when the flow switching phenomenon occurred in slide valve pair was simulated. The appropriate measures to eradicate the flow switching phenomena are adopted.
