Independent phase driving and control system of multiphase permanent magnet machine was designed.Each phase winding of the machine was driven by inverter H-bridge independently,which capabilities of fault-tolerance and control freedom were improved.Current hysteresis of each phase winding comparison with phase shifting three levels was adopted to realize optional current instruction of tracking control,and reduce switching losses simultaneously.And then the main control system of machine based on ARM and CPLD was designed,and its operation mechanism was introduced. Experiment is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed system of the machine,thereby providing a practical and feasible control scheme for multiphase permanent magnet machine.
