A longitudinal vibrator and a torsional vibrator were designed. A new type of longitudinal-torsional composite ultrasonic elliptic vibrator design method was proposed based on FEM. The ultrasonic elliptic vibrator was obtained according to the structural curve of the longitudinal and torsional vibratores. The structure dynamics simulation analysis of the new ultrasonic elliptic vibrator was carried out, and the impedance and vibration characteristics of the prototype were tested. The results of simulation and test provide an important basis for impedance matching and application of the longitudinal-torsional composite ultrasonic elliptical vibrator.
