Abstract:In the transport systems, the main concern all along is to optimize control strip tension and line velocity independently. Aimed at the characteristics of the winding tension control system, an observer based new scheme is proposed. The tension value was obtained by using the observer, which acted as the feedback of a regulator to construct a tension close loop system in the scheme. Thereby sensor less feedback control was achieved, the cost of mechanical equipment was saved, overall speed of the production line is improved and the influences of sensor signal disturbance upon the quality of products were reduced. The simulation results show that the system has good dynamic performance, also owns high steady precision.
