Abstract:As a key basic component for the machine tool bed, the dynamic performance of bed directly affects the quality of the tooling parts. By taking the bed of model 4410 lathe as a study object, an experimental system was built for testing and analysis of its dynamic characteristics,at the same time, the SolidWorks Simulation was used for finite element analysis (FEA) of the bed. The results show that compared with the dynamic parameters obtained by two methods, the frequency error is controlled within 483%, and the dynamic performance is effectively displayed, which provides the theoretical foundation for further improvement of manufacturing technology of lathe. These two research methods can provide some reference for the experiments and the analysis of other similar mechanisms.
