Abstract:By the study object of one processing center machine bed, the static and dynamic characteristic analysis was conducted on the processing center machine bed made of resin composite mineral material and cast iron respectively. The deformation of the two kinds of machine beds under the same static and dynamic load was analyzed by means of ABAQUS. The natural frequencies and natural modes of the both machine beds were studied, and the harmonic response analysis results were analyzed and compared considering whether the damping characteristic was taken into consideration or not. The results show that under condition of having about the same static rigidities of machine beds with two kinds of material, the processing center machine bed made of resin mineral composite material can effectively increase the natural frequencies, and reduce the dynamic response of the machine bed when suffered external incentive. The analysis results certify that the processing center machine bed made of resin mineral composite material has higher dynamic characteristic, and using the resin mineral composite material as machine bed has its unique advantage.
